The Rattlesnake Roundup, sponsored by the Whigham Community Club, demonstrates how venom is extracted from the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. Roundup show events include snake handling. Activities include entertainment, rides for children and snake cooking.

The annual Sunbelt Agricultural Expo is North America's largest agricultural exposition. It promotes the education and use of the latest agricultural equipment technology and research.

November

Mule Day celebrates farming in Southwest Georgia. The celebration highlights the Mule Museum that showcases farm items dating back 300 years, farming methods done by hand as well as historical documents and photographs. The celebration includes a Sunrise Breakfast, Mule Day Parade and mule judging. Activities include syrup making, cane grinding as well as arts and crafts.
